Welcome to the Deal and District Motor Cycle Club website!
The club was founded in 1950 and ever since, has been run by enthusiasts for enthusiasts.
Club members meet each week on Thursday evenings at the Magnet Public House, London Road, Deal CT14 9PW and welcome visitors from other motorbike clubs, enthusiasts or those who are simply interested and curious.
The second Sunday of each month is the day members take the opportunity to show off their favourite bikes, gather on Deal seafront and then move up to the Magnet Public House in the hope of winning the club’s prestigious ‘classic bike day’ trophy. Although named ‘classic bike day’ any motorbike can be entered, be it vintage, new or a restoration project.
Our annual open day on Walmer Green each August is a big event, open to members and non-members alike. With free admission, stalls, charity fundraising, displays, exhibits and of course, many motorbike trophies to be won.
Club members enjoy weekly ride outs around the area, camping weekends and social events too. It doesn’t matter whether you have been riding for twenty years or twenty minutes, everyone is able to join in. For the new rider, plenty of advice and support is available from experienced riders and those who have only recently passed their test. If you don’t ride or have never ridden, don’t worry, your interest will still be appreciated and rewarded.
Why not pop along and meet us? You’ll be made very welcome. No appointment necessary!
